Scott serves as Senior Vice President of Marketing, CX, and ESG. In this role, he is responsible for Target Hospitality’s environmental, social, and governance strategy. As head of marketing and customer experience, Scott is responsible for creating and accelerating the company’s marketing strategy, brand recognition, and guest experience. Mr. John originally joined the company in 2011. After a stint with our then-parent company, he rejoined in 2021.
Previously, Mr. John served as head of North American marketing at WillScot, the former parent of Target Hospitality. During his tenure there, Scott led the brand through the IPO process, which was followed by an era of rapid revenue growth of over 4x, including integrating 16 acquired companies. Scott also led the product management function, which became a key brand differentiator and revenue contributor, and was an integral part of the team that developed the company’s inaugural ESG strategy.
Earlier in his career, Scott held senior marketing roles in the athletic footwear market, working for Nike and Reebok and at global advertising agencies in New York City.
