The Story
There’s more than oil to be found in the Bakken, and when our client began construction of a new natural gas processing facility, we responded with the Bear Paw Lodge – a state-of-the-art facility that combines all of our innovative, field-tested services, systems and amenities in one, 608 bed lodge. The key to it all is our signature Central Corridor, the spine of the lodge which provides an environmentally controlled link to all the rooms in the facility so there is never any need to brave the elements when going to eat, work out, relax in the sauna or just play a game of pool. The lodge also features attractive landscaping as well as a grand entranceway, which provides a protective vestibule during the harsh winter months.
Key Challenges
Designing oversized rooms with private baths to comfortably accommodate two workers during peak occupancy periods.
The Extra Mile
We installed refrigerators and microwaves in each oversized room to allow workers with off-hour shifts to preserve and reheat healthy meals from our kitchen.
