The Story
Housing 1,700 security personnel for the Olympic games on short notice — that’s not a job for just anyone. Doing it in sub-zero temperatures in record-breaking snowfall territory —that’s a job for Target Hospitality. Which is exactly what we did for the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Committee when we built the Rainbow Security Complex to house security personnel. In just 88 days, we constructed and were running a camp complete with catering, management, amenities, and entertainment.
Key Challenges
Short Timetable. Heavy snow. Limited real estate.
The Extra Mile
Target Hospitality will move mountains to get the job done- literally. When secluded accommodations for security were not available, we built the Rainbow Security Complex into the side of a mountain near the Olympic venues.
